A comp card, also called a composite card or z-card, is a compact introduction to a model. Traditionally printed, it normally combines a strong main image with several supporting photographs and essential statistics.
What belongs on a comp card?
Include your professional name, a small selection of strong images, height and relevant measurements, plus agency contact information if represented. Freelance models can use appropriate professional contact details.
Keep the design simple
The photographs are the product. Avoid decorative layouts that compete with them. Typography should be readable and measurements should be easy to scan.
Printed or digital?
Printed cards remain useful in some casting environments, while a mobile-friendly portfolio link is increasingly practical. Many models benefit from having both.
Keep details accurate
